REMEMBER: A PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED TO PICK UP YOUR RACE PACKET
Updated Wednesday 1/21/25 at 7:45pm:
Sorry for the delay in posting. The storm slowed us down loading trailers and checking out the course. You can see photos of the course on our Facebook Page or on our Instagram. Photos were taken at 4:30pm Ð I immediately hopped onto my bike after posting the photos and I am happy to say that the bike course is in fantastic shape. Perfect for road bikes, triathlon bikes, or mountain bikes!!!
The run course starts out with a half mile on a paved bike path. This section has 2 inches of snow on it. The snow is very runnable, and there are runner footprints which I followed as I bikes the run course. The next quarter mile is on a dry bike path. The final outbound half mile (from 0.75 miles to the 1.25 mile turnaround) is again on snow, but but it has been tracked out by other runners.
It is going to be a fun day! Online registration is open until 9:45am.

If you selected the Fat Tire Division, remember, your tires must have a minimum 2 inch width. The bike course for all categories is 100 percent paved.
The Run course is a mix of paved road, dirt trails, and paved bike path. There is an aid station at approximately 0.75 miles & 1.75 miles.

Directions and Parking: The event will start and finish at the Hobie Hill area, near the West Entrance to the park. From I-25 Take Exit 199 (Belleview) and turn East on Belleview. Drive approximately 1.5 miles to Dayton (there is a stoplight). Turn left on Dayton and drive approximately 0.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right. Parking will take place at the Hobie Hill parking lot.
Once you are inside the park, signs will direct you to the Hobie Hill lot. Once Hobie Hill has filled, additional parking will be available at the Marina, just 200 yards beyond Hobie Hill. Parking is not allowed in any other locations within the park.
PLEASE DO NOT drive or park in the grass. You will be ticketed and you will jeopardize our ability to hold the race in the future. Please do not stop on the road or off the road to unload your bike and gear. Doing so will violate a condition of our permit. If you are seen doing either of these things, you will not be permitted to race. Please park in a designated parking space and unload once you are parked.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE A PARK PASS THIS YEAR.

Course and Race Info: Saturday's duathlon starts with 2.5 mile run followed by an 11 mile bike ride, then finishing up with another 2.5 mile run. Headphones are not allowed on the run or the bike.
Duathletes will switch from run to bike in the transition area, then walk or jog their bike to the Mount sign just past the Bike Start Arch. The bike course is 11 miles and will finish back at transition. Upon completing the bike portion, duathletes will head out onto the second 2.5 mile run, finishing under the run start/finish arch.
